Admission Criteria

  • Age: 21+ recommended

  • No formal degree required

  • Basic literacy in English and one local language preferred

  • Prior experience in herbalism, coaching, or alternative health is helpful but not required

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, students will:

  • Master the use of medicinal herbs through six levels of Ethnobotany

  • Understand the diagnostic principles of Iridology

  • Apply traditional principles in practical healing environments

  • Qualify for official listing as a D.Emed practitioner on EPASA’s directory

Assessment & Certification

Requirements for Certification:

  • Full attendance of all modules

  • Completion of all practical and home study hours

  • Submission of a portfolio including assignments, herb samples, and case studies

  • Final interview or practical demonstration may be required for verification

Successful graduates will receive:

  • A Certificate of Competence as an EthnoMedicine Practitioner (D.Emed)

  • Eligibility for listing with EPASA and/or HEPASA
