Admission Criteria
Age: 21+ recommended
No formal degree required
Basic literacy in English and one local language preferred
Prior experience in herbalism, coaching, or alternative health is helpful but not required
Course Objectives
By the end of the course, students will:
Master the use of medicinal herbs through six levels of Ethnobotany
Understand the diagnostic principles of Iridology
Apply traditional principles in practical healing environments
Qualify for official listing as a D.Emed practitioner on EPASA’s directory
Assessment & Certification
Requirements for Certification:
Full attendance of all modules
Completion of all practical and home study hours
Submission of a portfolio including assignments, herb samples, and case studies
Final interview or practical demonstration may be required for verification
Successful graduates will receive:
A Certificate of Competence as an EthnoMedicine Practitioner (D.Emed)
Eligibility for listing with EPASA and/or HEPASA
